John Cruft is the Regional Professional Development Manager for Macmillan Education, Asia. He has been working in South and Southeast Asia for over 14 years as both a teacher and teacher trainer. He has worked in both the private and public sectors including MOE INSETT projects in Malaysia, Vietnam, Sri Lanka, Nepal and Thailand. John holds a Master’s degree in Education and International Development from the Institute of Education in London, and a PGDip TESOL from the University of Nottingham, where his studies focused on teacher education in Southeast Asia.
