Kim Pilger began teaching English to young adults in
Vancouver, Canada, in 2003. He has since taught English to children and adults
in Japan, South Korea and Vietnam. He
began training teachers in Canada in 2009 and has trained teachers of English
in South Korea and Vietnam. Kim always
looks for ways to make teaching more engaging and fun and believes strongly in
continual professional development in order to promote lifelong learning for
teachers and students. Kim holds a graduate certificate in tertiary teaching
and learning from RMIT, a master’s degree in applied linguistics from the
University of New England, a graduate diploma in teaching English to speakers
of other languages from Vancouver Community College and a bachelor’s degree in
Psychology from Simon Fraser University, and an international diploma of
language teaching management from the University of Queensland.
