Allen Davenport is the Teacher Development Manager for the Southeast Asian Region at Cambridge University Press.  Allen holds a BS in cultural anthropology and linguistics and an MS in education with a focus in academic counseling and student development. Allen has been involved in English language teaching for more than a decade in various roles including teacher, academic program coordinator, certified examiner for multiple assessment organizations, and teacher trainer. Allen is a frequent speaker at conferences and has presented workshops and seminars on various topics throughout Asia and the Middle East. Allen’s current interests involve integrating creativity into the classroom and investigating how English language teaching is adapting to suit the needs of the 21st-century learner.
