Masa Suzuki is currently Director of Test Development at Pearson. He has
over 10 years of experience in developing, validating, researching, and
managing large-scale, high-stakes automated language tests in collaboration
with partners including the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), the U.S.
Department of Defense, and Peking University. He holds an MA in Teaching
English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL) from San Francisco State
University and frequently presents at international conferences such as
Language Testing Research Colloquium (LTRC), Teachers of English to Speakers of
Other Languages (TESOL), and American Association of Applied Linguistics
(AAAL). His publications have appeared in peer-reviewed journals, including
Journal of Educational and Psychological Measurement, Language Assessment
Quarterly, Australian Review of Applied Linguistics, and IEEE Professional
Transactions.
