Christopher Allen has been involved in ELT since 1985.  He has taught in China, US, and Thailand and has taught all levels from kindergarten to adult and business English.  He holds a Masters' degree from the University of Hawaii.  Since 1997 he has worked as a teacher trainer, regularly conducting workshops for ELT teachers and science teachers.  He has conducted over 350 workshops for all types of ELT teachers on a vast variety of topics.  Chris has been conducting workshops for Pearson in Thailand, Malaysia, Indonesia, Lao, Cambodia, Vietnam, and China.   He has also authored an adult course book and is currently working on a primary and two secondary series for international publishers.  Chris is also a faculty member of Burapha University in Thailand, where he teaches master degree courses in education on materials and curriculum design, professional development, and methodology.  Chris' in with interests are in phonics, early literacy, teaching with video, and engagement and creative thinking
