Andrew Tweed

Andy holds a MATESOL from the University of Washington, and is currently the United States Senior English Language Fellow at the National Institute of Education in Phnom Penh--where he runs training programs and assists with developing and administering courses for trainee teachers. Prior to coming to Cambodia, he was based in Vietnam where he managed the Teacher Training department for Apollo English and worked as a CELTA, TKT and International House trainer. He taught Business and General English for schools and companies in Japan, and was an instructor in the University of Washington’s English Language Programs in Seattle. He has presented at conferences and universities in Thailand, Cambodia, Vietnam and the United States, and his articles on teaching have been published in WAESOL World and Interna- tional House Journal. His interests include methodology, teacher development and the role of non-native English speaking teachers in TESOL.
