Ivan Sorrentino is the ELT and Education Marketing Director, Asia for Cambridge University Press. After graduating from Cambridge University in 1991, he worked as an English teacher in Spain and Japan for seven years before entering the publishing world. Amongst his many work duties are an understanding of the varied English language and English medium material needs of students, teachers, institutions and testing bodies across Asia. He has a wide interest in linguistics, covering syntax, pragmatics, semantics, discourse analysis, phonetics, and learner motivation. Practicing what he preaches can speak five languages.
