As the world develops and changes, so education must try and keep up and evolve to meet the needs of the modern times. In this session participants will examine how they can view education in different ways through the concept of the Flipped Classroom. Participants will also learn about the Flipped Classroom’s origins, its current use in modern day education and how it compares to the traditional classroom. In particular, John will discuss the benefits, challenges and how through this approach we can begin to develop more independent, motivated language learners. There will be practical, fun tips for teachers to take away and use in their own teaching contexts
