THE 2018 ANNUAL VUS TESOL CONFERENCE IN HANOI
Technology, a part of our evolution, has become indispensable to the majority of industries. In other words, we invented and then thrived together with our inventions, from generations to generations through education. On the one hand, education plays a crucial role as the maintainer of the inventing-thriving cycle. On the other hand, it receives advantages from the development of technology. It is educators’ vision to recognize and balance this mutually beneficial education-technology relationship, which leads us towards stronger global connections and developments.
Applying digital usage in English language teaching (ELT) is no longer just a trend. Maximizing the potential of technological means in classroom is one of the top priorities in ELT research and practices. In light of such rapid growth of technology combining with the dynamics of modern ELT, we introduce the theme “TEACHING ENGLISH WITH TECHNOLOGY: CREATIVITY AND INNOVATION”, which will serve as the focal point of this year’s VUS TESOL Conference in Ha Noi.
