Introduction
Since 2006, VUS has hosted annual TESOL conferences and webinars with free registration for everyone in the ELT community in Vietnam and neighboring countries in order to cater to ELT teachers’ need to improve themselves professionally. The events have created exciting opportunities for researchers, teachers, and school administrators to share ideas and practices in their profession, and keep their minds refreshed with up-to-date ELT trends. Featuring highly informative, enlightening lectures by renowned ELT authorities, educators, and book authors such as David Nunan, Alan Maley, Gordon Lewis, Allen Davenport, Ha Van Sinh, Edmund Dudley, and Derek Spafford, among others, annual VUS TESOL conferences have become one of the most eagerly-awaited professional rendezvous for thousands of teachers both inside and outside Vietnam.

Given the increasingly complex, uncertain, and interconnected world we live in today, at National Geographic Learning, we recognize the urgency and importance of helping learners become “Future Ready”: School ready, career ready, life ready and English ready. We are therefore delighted to participate in the 2022 VUS TESOL Conference with the timely theme of “Future ELT: Explorations and Practicalities.” We look forward to having the opportunity to exchange thoughts and ideas with teachers and administrators from throughout Vietnam on the latest teaching methodologies, technologies, and perspectives that we can all use to prepare students with the skills they need to navigate the enormous challenges that stand before us all.

It is so exciting to be able to attend VUS TESOL Conference in person after such a long time of not being able to connect with other teachers in person. Communities of practice such as this help create the supportive environment we all need to thrive on and I am thrilled to be a part of it!
The future of ELT is bright! We have many exciting opportunities ahead of us and events such as this can really help to show the way forward for teachers and researchers alike.

“Appreciation to the presenters at VUS TESOL Webinars 2021. The content from the 10 sessions reflected the real challenges that both teachers and students face in the current period. This has helped provide teachers and educators with the necessary information to improve and upgrade professional qualifications for both online and offline platforms. I hope to attend more seminars from VUS in the future”, shared by Ms. Nguyen Hoang Kieu, a teacher who attended VUS TESOL Webinars 2021.
“It’d be great to have a workshop with in-depth knowledge of topics such as "Reaching all students with diverse teaching methods". Many thanks to the presenters for sharing great things, from which I learned how to design classroom activities and develop different teaching methods to suit various students’ levels.” - Ms. Ivy Bayadog Racal, a TESOL teacher from the Philippines shared.
